Who we are

Lok’nStore Ltd was established in February 1995, by founder and current Chief Executive Officer Andrew Jacobs. In March 1995 we opened our first store in Horsham, this was the start of the rapid growth of Lok’nStore across Southern England.

In 2006 we opened our 1st brand-new purpose-built store in Farnborough and moved all our Head Office and Central Support Team there. A modern and bright building that steered the way for future builds, creating a fresher appearance for the company and a sense of pride for the whole Lok’nStore team.

Today we operate self-storage in many locations across the UK with teams of dedicated people offering expert service and support to our customers. Our customers are made up of household and business customers and while what they store may be unique to them the reasons they choose us are clear; we offer clean and secure space and provide our customers with exceptional customer service making us the “Big Friendly Storage Company”.

Today Lok’nStore is growing faster than ever before, adding more stores to our portfolio at a rapid rate. This creates plenty of amazing opportunities within the Lok’nStore family, to earn, learn and progress your career.

We believe in providing a professional service in a helpful and attentive way. Using the right words and gestures throughout all contact with our customers. Whenever a customer walks through one of the store's doors they are met with a smile and a ‘how are you today?’.

As a company, we want to treat our customers right, especially as we recognise that many of our customers use storage at stressful times of their lives such as moving house. That’s why customer service is at the forefront of our business, having a chat with the customers and offering them a cup of coffee and a biscuit can make all the difference.

We feel these attributes demonstrate the core values of the company, and we want any new employees to have these attributes as you will be the face of the company, talking to customers, and potential customers on a day to day basis.
